Women in the Old Testament

A streaming video course from Ingrid Faro at Seminary Now.

Who are the women of the Old Testament?

This video course offers a deep dive into the often-overlooked stories of women in the Hebrew Bible. Step beyond typical Sunday school narratives, and explore the complex lives of women like Hagar, Esther, Miriam, and Ruth within their historical and cultural contexts. Examine their experiences of courage, betrayal, resilience, and encounters with God, and discover the significant roles women played in shaping biblical history.

This course with Dr. Ingrid Faro challenges traditional interpretations, uncovers hidden details, and highlights how these ancient stories resonate with contemporary issues of identity, purpose, and relationships. Gain new perspectives, foster a deeper appreciation for the diverse narratives in Scripture, and move toward a more nuanced comprehension of God's interaction with humanity.
