Meet Your Teacher
Dr. Jules A. Martinez–Olivieri is Milton B. Engebretson Chair in Evangelism and Justice. Before that, he was associate professor of theology at Trinity International University—Florida campus.
He is a theologian, practitioner, and author working at the intersection of social, pastoral, and systematic theology. Dr. Martínez has a rich and diverse teaching background, having taught at seminaries in Puerto Rico, Bolivia, Guatemala, Perú, and the United States. As an ordained minister, his broad pastoral experience includes serving as a pastor in Latino/a churches in Illinois and church planter in Puerto Rico.
